Calling Procedure in the event of a leak
- Call University Facilities Management at 612-624-2900.
- State your name, location, severity of the leak, and where exactly in the building the leak is occurring. Let the person know that immediate assistance is needed.
- Call your building contact. Building contact information is available here
- Contact Preservation Staff if collection materials are impacted.

Collection Emergency Kits
Major Collection Emergency
The Collection Management and Preservation Department is responsible for maintaining and implementing a response plan for a major collection emergency. The Collections Emergency Response Team is trained to provide expertise and hands on recovery in the event of a major emergency. Libraries staff may be called upon to assist during a emergency response. The following document outlines the response.
