The Collection Management Unit plans, coordinates, and implements a variety of one-time and ongoing projects related to managing the life cycle of the Libraries’ physical collections. The unit is responsible for a variety of projects related to managing the Libraries’ physical collections, including: collections moves and related collections shifts, collections withdrawal projects, large scale preservation projects (including preparing materials for digitization), and physical transfers to shared print program repositories.
