Annual Campaigns
The Development Office produces two annual giving campaigns a year:
- In the spring, we solicit for the Libraries General Use Fund, a discretionary fund used to support current and new initiatives and projects of the Libraries. An appeal is mailed to Libraries supporters, followed up by an email reminder and telemarketing by the University Foundation’s team of student callers.
- In the fall, we solicit for Friends of the Libraries memberships, which support the community outreach programs of the Libraries, as well as Libraries staff development and recognition. An appeal is mailed to Libraries supporters, followed up by an email reminder.
The Friends Board is active in engaging with our supporters by volunteering their time during these campaigns to call and speak with them about their interests in the Libraries and the importance of their support.
