Human Resources (HR) and Organizational Development (OD)

What we do

Human Resources (HR) is responsible for managing Libraries employees. We are responsible for employee hiring and termination, recruitment, managing payroll/compensation, and other staffing needs. 

HR is also responsible for ensuring that employees comply with University policies and processes, and that they receive the proper training and development needed to perform their job duties, along with a dedicated mentoring program. 

We strive to ensure that the Libraries have the right people in the right positions, and we help to create an atmosphere of inclusivity, fairness and respect among all employees. Lastly, we help to ensure that all employee groups are given the opportunity to grow and develop within their roles.
