Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leadership Committee (DEI-LC)

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion  Leadership Committee (DEI-LC) aims to develop or improve services with inclusion in mind, reduce barriers to learning, and create a sense of belonging among all library clientele. It is charged to focus on two main areas of work: developing and improving services with respect to DEI-related issues, and fostering relationships with entities on campus focused on DEI work. The group serves in an advisory capacity to the Libraries in order to meet goals identified in the University of Minnesota’s strategic plan and other initiatives that address equity and diversity.
