Licensing open source software at the Libraries

Approved in March 2016, the University Libraries Open Sharing Policy includes open source licensing of code produced by Libraries staff members. Below are Libraries code releases made since the policy went into effect. All releases are made through the University of Minnesota GitHub site: https://github.com/UMNLibraries. Staff interested in proposing a code release are advised to consult the Open Sharing and Licensing of UMN Libraries Code procedural document, which leads to proposal submission via the Open Source Software Licensing Authorization Request Form.
