Important dates you should be aware of!

March 2003 - LibData function completion

• Complete delete functionality
• Complete usability heuristic evaluation
• Fix and finish off PageScribe CSS problems
• LibData team sign off

April 2003 - LibData Review

• April 1 - 30: Streamline LibData functions - continue to make more efficient
• April 13 - 18: Demonstrate LibData to staff
• April 21 - 25: Discuss LibData with portal developers, Jaws

May 2003 - OLIP -> LibData Migration

• May 1 - 9: Freeze OLIP (no more changes to the OLIP/RQS database, make your changes to RQS pages before May 1!)
• May 1 - 9: Transfer OLIP data into LibData
• May 12 - 30: (re)Create RQS pages
• May 26 - 30: Begin testing drawing Indexes from LibData
• May 26 - 30: Prepare and give staff update

June 2003 - CourseLib -> PageScribe Migration

• June 2 - 13: Prepare LibData training materials
• June 2 - 13: Begin using LibData to show patron views of Indexes
• June 9 - 13: Determine which current CourseLib pages can be deleted and delete them (so we don't transfer any garbage pages over to the new system)
• June 16 - 30: Train staff in the ways of LibData - let them fool around with it
• June 25 - 30: Request domain research.lib.umn.edu and begin using LibData for RQS

July 2003 - CourseLib -> PageScribe Migration

• July 1 - 9: Freeze Jaws version of CourseLib (no more updates to the Jaws version)
• July 9 - 11: Clear all fake PageScribe/CourseLib pages in LibData (clean the slate)
• July 14 - 31: Begin re-creating old and new CourseLib pages
• July 28 - 31: Request domain courses.lib.umn.edu
